Well, he was actually the boyfriend of an acquaintance of one of my best friends and we had attended the same party or two here and there. I had noticed him before, but mostly in passing, and had thought that he was cute, but never had more thought than that because he was off limits and wasn't on the market. Two months after I graduated from college, I was back at home and my best friend had a birthday party and she mentioned that he would be coming over and that he was no longer in a relationship with that girl.  My ears perked at this fact, and I made up my mind that I was going to make a move on him. Why not? I told myself. I had just gotten a degree, come back home, and hadn't dated or been in a relationship for the past five years! I deserved a little fun! So, as mentioned previously, I'm an extrovert and have no problem going after what I want once I set my eyes on something. I really had no intentions of it turning into anything, maybe a drink or two here and a snuggle or two there, but life has a funny way of expressing itself sometimes.
